Al Hoare has been appointed as Managing Director for Corserv Facilities.
The Corserv Group’s 4-year business plan has been approved by Cornwall Council Scrutiny Committee. The plan outlines how Corserv Property Ltd will expand to become Corserv Facilities, a new company in the Corserv Group.
Corserv Facilities will combine teams from Cornwall Housing Repairs and Maintenance, Cormac Facilities and Private Rented Acquisitions. Brought together to provide high-quality services to customers.
Cath Robinson, Managing Director for the Corserv Group said:
“We’re delighted to announce that Al Hoare has been appointed as Managing Director for Corserv Facilities. Al has more than 10 years’ experience leading operational and business support services. His knowledge and skills will bring Corserv Facilities to the forefront as a viable, commercial business in the marketplace.”
Most recently Al was Corserv Central Services Director where he was instrumental in driving growth for fleet services and facilities management. Al holds an MBA and has a background in IT. He previously worked across different departments at Corserv, Cormac and Cornwall Council.
As part of this change, Cornwall Housing is consulting with tenants about the improvements.
Cornwall Housing will continue to provide housing services to communities across the Duchy. The teams manage over 10,400 homes, provide constant support and advice, and run the Homechoice housing register.
Cornwall Housing also works to prevent homelessness and rough sleeping. As well as managing the sites for Gypsy and Traveller communities.
