Jason Gallop from our Compliance team visited Landulph Parish Council last week with one of our Biomethane vehicles to promote our sustainable fleet and the initiatives we have at Corserv Facilities. They sent him the following message:
“Thank you for coming last night and thank you for bringing the truck - I know that people were really interested in seeing it. We had lots of positive comments about how interesting and thought provoking the evening was.”
One of the vehicles Jason promoted at the event has a registration number with special significance to us, WF23GAS.
Working with our supplier we were able to access this number plate at no cost, and choose a specific combination of numbers and letters in homage to Fleet Operations Manager, Wayne Fox, who sadly passed away in September last year. The plate is a special reminder of the work he did on securing these vehicles as part of our transition to alternative fuels.
The WF prefix represent Wayne’s initials, the 23 relates to the year of registration with the GAS post fix because the vehicle runs on biomethane gas.
A big thanks to the Hendy Group for sourcing the registration number for us.
