Cornwall Housing has launched a new Repairs Guidance Policy, following consultation with tenants.
As part of the new partnership between Cornwall Housing and Corserv Facilities, who deliver repairs and maintenance for Cornwall Housing’s tenants, a new guide has been created to make it clear what the expectations are around repairs and maintenance.
The guide includes information about how long tenants should expect to wait for a repair, and who is responsible for what in tenants’ homes. Representatives from the Tenant Forum, Scrutiny Panel and Complaints Appeals Panel reviewed the draft Repairs Guide and gave feedback on some of the wording and layout.
