In what careers is Corserv Facilities offering apprenticeships?
We offer apprenticeships in construction management, business administration, vehicle maintenance, management, and facilities management.

Who are apprenticeships open to?
Apprenticeships are available to school leavers, those leaving the armed forces, and anyone, including existing employees, wanting to change or improve their career prospects.

Is there an age limit?
No. You can become an apprentice at any age. While many of our apprentices join us between the ages of 16 to 18, we have had apprentices who started with us in their 40s.

Where will the locations be? Is there transportation?
Locations depend on the apprenticeship role. In some cases this will mean working from one office most of the time, but in other roles you could be travelling all over the county. Transport isn’t provided, but as we have people from all over the county working all over the county, we’re sure something could be arranged.

How many hours of study and how many hours work?
You’ll spend at least 20% of the time learning (including time at college). This typically means one day a week for a full time apprentice.

How long do apprenticeships take?
This varies depending on the nature and level of the apprenticeship. An apprenticeship can be from 12-48 months depending on the level.

Why should I choose an apprenticeship?
You will learn a specialist trade or professional career that will always be in demand, while you get paid.

Who is Corserv Facilities and why should I work for them?
Corserv Facilities is part of Corserv alongside Cormac and Corserv Care.

What happens if I want to move on after my apprenticeship?
We’re hoping that we train you well and give you opportunities throughout your apprenticeship and that you’ll stay with us .However, if you decide to move on, we will support your decision.

How do I get on to an apprenticeship?
Like any employee you will be interviewed to check your suitability for the role and you might even be asked to undertake some tests – this is not an exam. Getting an apprenticeship is very much like applying for a job - you will need to show your enthusiasm and keenness for the role.
